1. Check Before Startup
Check whether there are any foreign objects in the mixing tank, whether the filter body has been emptied of sludge, and whether there is any sludge buildup around the head of the screw shaft.
2. Startup Steps
(1) Add flocculant powder to the PAM preparation system and start the mixing device;
(2) Manually spray the fixed discs on the filter body for 2 minutes;
(3) Start the body drive motor, check whether its rotation direction is correct, and continue spraying for 2 minutes;
(4) Start the flocculant supply pump, sludge inlet pump, and flocculation mixing motor in sequence;
(5) Adjust the sludge inflow, screw shaft speed, and back-pressure plate spacing to optimize the treatment capacity and water content.
3. Check After Startup
Check whether the screw shaft rotates normally, whether the sludge level in the mixing tank is stable, whether all rotating parts operate normally, and whether there is any abnormal noise.
4. Shutdown Steps
(1) Stop the sludge feed pump and stop feeding sludge;
(2) Stop the dosing pump and dosing system;
(3) Drain the flocculation mixing tank and stop the flocculation mixing motor;
(4) After all the sludge has been discharged, continue operation for no less than 30 minutes, then manually spray the filter body for 5 minutes to clean the equipment;
(5) Turn off the power.
5. Precautions for Daily Operation
(1) Set appropriate operating and shutdown times during automatic operation, and complete the entire process in accordance with safety requirements;
(2) Adjust the "flow regulating pipe" to an appropriate height according to different sludge concentrations;
(3) Do not overload the equipment with excessive sludge, as this may cause sludge buildup in the concentration section of the dehydrator;
(4) Do not allow hard solids such as large pieces of slag, wood, or metal to enter the sludge pump or the filter body of the dehydrator;
(5) During manual cleaning, prevent water from contacting electrical components such as the motor and electrical control box;
(6) Replace or add gear lubricating oil to the reducer regularly;
(7) Check once a month whether the nuts on the filter body are loose;
(8) Carry out maintenance once every three months.
